HOW TO GET STARTED WITH HUBPAGES

                                                                           
Hubpages is a free website tool just like Google Blogger where you can create your Webpages under free domain name. You don’t need to have any technical knowledge to create a Hubpages account. Anyone can create a Hubpages account, it’s absolutely free and you can earn a good amount of money with Hubpages. One of the best advantages of Hubpages is that it provides awesome SEO (Search Engine Optimization). It means your hubs will get an excellent Search Engine visibility and good amount of traffic (number of people visiting your site). SEO ranking is very important for any website, if you are thinking of making some money with blog, I would suggest you to create a Hubpages account, as they will provide you with excellent traffic and revenue earning opportunities in less time, which may not be possible even if you create a self hosted site with your domain name.
If you create 10-12 quality hubs (in your Hubpages), you can easily apply for Google Adsense Program, once your Adsense account will be approved by Google, you will earn revenue from your hubs then. You can also earn money with your hubs from Amazon, eBay and others which we will discuss later on.

Steps to Setup a Hubpages Account-
1. Go to www.hubpages.com

2. Once you are into the Home page of  Hubpages.com, you will find a 'JOIN NOW' option at the top right corner of the Hubpages Screen:

Click on the Join Now option.

3. Once you will click on the Join Now option you will get a Sign Up page. Fill in the page and click on the Sign up option. You can also sign up with your Facebook Account information (optional).

4. Congratulations!! Your Hubpages Account has been created. Now you can start creating Hubs.

Steps to create a Hub-
1. After you click on the Sign Up option, you will be directed to Hubpages Learning Center Page.
At the Hubpages Learning Center Page you will get 'Start a new hub' option at the top right corner of the page. Click on that option.

2. After you click on the Start a new hub option, you will be directed to 'Create a Hub' page
Fill up the page carefully.
Give a suitable Title to your Hub. The title must be little catchy and should give readers an idea about what your hub contains.
For example if you want to write a hub about 'Las Vegas’, your probable Hub Title would be like Las Vegas City, Las Vegas Tourism, Las Vegas Hotels etc.

Select a suitable Hub Topic (What you want to write about)

Select a Hub Category (consider the above Las Vegas example; your hub category would be like Tourism, Travel & Places etc.)

Selecting a Hub Format means choosing the layout for your hub (you can change the layout later on if you want to). You will get 3 options to select from.

1. Article- You can select Article if you want to publish your writing
2. Video- You can select Video if you have videos to publish
3. Recipe- If you want to publish your cooking recipes, this option will be the best.

Choose proper Tags for your hubs. Tags are the keywords which people may use to search for your hubs.Choosing proper tags will help your readers to find your article (hubs) in less time.

Once you are done with the above steps it’s time to customize your hubs. You will get Capsules to customize your hubs accordingly.
Capsules are the tools available in the right hand column of your Hubtool page. Capsules are used to enter text, videos, news, comments, RSS feed, advertisement etc. into the hubs.
